The underlying message of the successful independent private practice is that, in addition to those individuals with a recognised psychological disorder, psychological services are also appropriate for people dealing with normal problems of modern life. 

Treatment is, however, not open-ended and, in most cases, much can be achieved in a relatively short period of time with regular hourly consultations. The practice is located within the City of Stonnington, which is serviced by Southcity GPs, and Dr Curtis is part of an established network of mental health practitioners located across Melbourne.

Referrals can be made by individuals directly to Dr Annie Curtis or from GPs and  Psychiatrists both in-patient and community.

Dr Curtis's professional practice adheres to the APS Code of Ethics & Private Practice Management Standards.  She is actively involved in the APS Professional Development program aimed to promote the maintenance & improvement of quality psychological services and has completed a Certificate IV Business Management (2007) ensuring quality business practice.
